Create your first bot
A step-by-step path from sign-in to your first flow.
Create or connect a bot¶
- Sign in to botnest and select Create bot on the home page.
- Our Telegram Mini App opens the native bot creation window. Enter a name and available Telegram username, then confirm.
- Wait for the connection. botnest opens the created bot; you do not need to enter its name again.
Already have a Telegram bot? Use the attach button beside Create bot and paste its BotFather token. Never publish the token: it grants access to your bot.
Build the first reply¶
- Open Flow on the bot page.
- Keep the Message output enabled in the events block.
- Use Add block to find Send message and enter “Hello! I'm here.”
- Connect the Message output to the new block's Launch input. Keep the original chat as the destination.
- Select Save. This also publishes the flow to the bot immediately.
- Open the bot in Telegram and send it a message.
If the flow already contains a sample reply, edit it instead of adding another. Otherwise the bot may reply twice.
