Slack

For a Slack bot¶

Setup is on a bot page with the Slack channel. This is a separate connection, not a Telegram token.

1. Open the Slack bot page.
2. If app setup is shown, enter a username and follow the instructions for a temporary Slack configuration Access Token.
3. Select Create Slack app or Complete setup.
4. Select Add to Slack and approve permissions in the correct workspace.
5. Add the app to the intended Slack channel and send a test message.

The interface reports if connections are unavailable in this environment. Do not substitute a Telegram token for a Slack token.

The flow¶

Use supported Slack events and shared message, condition and data blocks. Telegram-specific actions, such as managing Telegram topics, do not apply.

Connected workspaces appear on the bot page. Disconnect ends that connection; check that it is no longer in use first.
