How flows work

Triggers, steps, and execution order.

How a flow runs

  1. An event starts its branch, for example an incoming message.
  2. A connection leads from one block's output to the next block's Launch input.
  3. The block performs its task and makes its result available afterwards.
  4. A condition selects Yes or No. A branch ends where no next step is connected.

A block's position on screen does not determine execution order. Connections do. An unconnected block does not run by itself.

Working on the canvas

  • Drag the empty background to move around; zoom with the wheel or a two-finger gesture.
  • Select Add block and find an action by name or category.
  • Select a block to edit its fields in place. Select empty space to collapse its settings.
  • The ? on a block opens short help and a link to its guide.
  • The ? in the header walks you through the editor's main interactions.

What Save means

Save stores changes and immediately publishes the flow. Editing alone does not change the published logic until saving succeeds.

If saving fails, keep the page open and resolve the reported issue. If a local draft recovery is offered, review it before using it.
