Prompt, model, key and using the answer.

A simple AI flow

  1. Connect the Message event to Ask AI.
  2. Explain the task in the prompt and insert ${message.text}.
  3. Choose the provider, connected key and model.
  4. Connect Send message and insert the result chip into its text.

A model key and access to the flow generator are separate settings. Cost and limits depend on the selected provider. Keep unnecessary personal data out of prompts.

Ask AI

Sends a prompt to an AI model and stores its answer for later steps. It does not send the user a message by itself.

  1. Connect a provider key, select a model and enter a prompt. Insert data from previous steps as chips.
  2. Name the result, for example llm_output. To reply to the user, connect Send message and insert ${llm_output}.
  3. For structured output, ask for JSON only and add Parse JSON. Check the result: models can make mistakes.
