Connecting¶

Create a new bot with Create bot through the Telegram Mini App. Connect an existing bot using the token attachment button on the home page.

1. Open the bot page after connecting.
2. Check the profile and Replies switch.
3. Open and save its flow, then start a conversation in Telegram.

Only the service receiving the bot's events should use its token for that purpose. Another system consuming its updates can interfere with operation.

Events and commands¶

Enable only the event outputs you need. A message, button click and reaction are different events with separate branches. Check commands with a condition on message text.

Groups and channels¶

• Add the bot to the target chat.
• Grant the relevant administrator permissions for moderation, pinning and chat changes.
• If ordinary group messages do not arrive, check Telegram privacy settings and the bot's role.
• For events sent as a channel, the author may be a chat rather than a user.

In the Mini App, Back leads from the flow to the bot and then home. Close appears on the home page.
